Governance: An analytical product of the Bank’s research arm rather than member-state-reported official statistics: it synthesizes 35 third-party perception sources into modelled composite scores. An external advisory committee convened in 2025 advises, but responsibility for methodological design rests solely with the WGI team.
Published: Annual. The 2025 revision covers 1996–2024 and recalculated every historical estimate.
